Why was Tania chosen as the member of the month?
Well let me tell you.
Tania has a background in the hospitality industry having lived in Queenstown for many years. Trained as a Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife & Grief Counselor. A full time Celebrant having trained through the Celebrants School of NZ & member of the Celebrants Association of NZ.
Current sitting for her 3rd year on the Committee as CANZ Canterbury Branch Membership & OPD Director. Plus newly appointed as the Co-ordinator for the National Celebrants Conference being held in May 2017.
Adding to her workload she will be taking on her new role as a tutor for the Celebrants School of NZ based in Auckland & Christchurch.
Tania also makes hand poured soy candles for weddings, funerals & corporate functions her company name is Re-Kindle & Co and fundraisers for Canterbury Baby Loss NZ.
Wearing many hats Tania also receives donated pre loved wedding gowns which enables her to make these into " Angel Gowns " for babies born sleeping.
She will be traveling to Auckland this month for training on taking baby castings of little hands & feet.
Also as a "Soul Midwife" Tania will journey with families that have a loved one who has been diagnosed as terminal or where death is eminent engaging with them in support and guidance to help their loved one through the final transitioning phase of 'passing through the veil.'
Tania' s family is her heart center and is extremely grateful for their support and belief in her to enable her to do what she loves.
Tania is one of those people you want to be around. So pleased she has our Award for the month of May.
